Main aims and objectives of the Sangha:

• To promote unity, self-help and co-operation among the members of Padmashali community.
• To eradicate social and other impediments that come in the way of the progress of Padmashali community through proper means.
• To grant scholarships to deserving poor college students of Padmashali community of Mumbai, Dakshina Kanara, Udupi Districts and other places who wish to pursue studies in Professional courses like Medicine, Engineering etc.
• To provide medical aid to destitute members of the community during their illness. To arrange for their journey to their native place at the Sangha's expense.
• To arrange for the funeral of destitute members of the community.
• To maintain a 'Death Benefit Fund' for the benefit of the members of Padmashali Community.
• To promote the cause of education by establishing or aiding educational institutions.
• To undertake any other activity depending on the circumstances, or to strive in pursuance of the objectives stated above and also to propagate these objectives.
